
Allen Andress, Vice President Engineering & Construction
Allen Andress has more than 35 years of experience in chemical, petrochemical, refining and manufacturing projects, with the past 23+ years of work experience being in the area of project engineering, project management and resource management. His experience includes direct supervision and planning for entire project teams of electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, piping, civil, structural, mechanical and architectural technologies.
Also, Andress’ experience includes a broad spectrum of the industry including LNG liquefaction, GTL, chemicals, refining, ammonia, ethylene, manufacturing, mining and minerals and forest products. These projects have ranged from small engineering revamp studies to grassroots multi-billion dollar joint-venture projects.
Andress has completed assignments with management responsibilities in the engineering, construction and commissioning and startup arenas and is a well-balanced manager. He has coordinated and interfaced with several different competitive E&C firms who had contracts on the same project on which he was managing, which highlights his flexibility to effectively manage any circumstance. Andress successfully managed KBR’s leading HVEC (High Value Engineering Center) in Monterrey, Mexico, for three plus years.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering technology from Lamar University.
