{"id":347,"date":"2014-07-17T16:05:07","date_gmt":"2014-07-17T16:05:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/192.185.195.166\/~meliorin\/?page_id=347"},"modified":"2017-08-10T14:40:51","modified_gmt":"2017-08-10T14:40:51","slug":"mike-modak","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/meliorinnovations.com\/nextgen\/mike-modak\/","title":{"rendered":"Mike Modak, Board of Directors"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_483\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/meliorinnovations.com\/nextgen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/mike-modak-e1407451558502.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-483\" class=\"wp-image-483\" src=\"http:\/\/meliorinnovations.com\/nextgen\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/mike-modak-e1407451558502.jpg\" alt=\"Mike Modak\" width=\"150\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-483\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mike Modak, Board of Directors<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Mike Modak brings more than\u00a030 years experience as a senior executive in the chemicals and materials world.\u00a0 He has held global P&amp;L roles as well as strategy\/growth roles with a number of premier public companies as well as private equity backed firms.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently he was the executive responsible for the global businesses and R&amp;D at Blackstone backed Polymer Group.\u00a0 Prior to that he was the chief commercial officer of Apollo backed Momentive Performance Materials.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to Momentive, Modak\u00a0was vice president strategic marketing and business development at Honeywell\u2019s Specialty Materials business where he held responsibility for strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, strategic marketing, commercial excellence and the company\u2019s portfolio of upstream opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>At National Starch, an ICI company, he was the leader of the Health Care and Personal Care businesses then took responsibility for the company\u2019s Strategic Development and Innovation activities.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to National, Modak\u00a0spent 20 years at HB Fuller Company, a leading adhesive and specialty chemical manufacturer.\u00a0 After early career roles in sales, marketing and strategic planning, he alternated between general management roles in various businesses and staff roles in the corporate development and mergers &amp; acquisitions arena completing numerous transactions in all areas of the world.
